Henry Arthur Barnett, died 23rd July 1911. He passed away from pneumonic influenza, contracted during a meeting at the Belmont Park Race Club. He was known to be a prominent figure both in business and in racing circles at the time. He was a member of the Adelaide Hunt Club, along with being the chairman of the stipendiary stewards for Belmont Park Race Club.
